Certification
Certified against the OCTO standard, in both directions.
OCTO is the open connectivity standard for tours, activities, and attractions. The supplier endpoint and the reseller client used behind this service each passed OCTO's validator on 2026-09-07, and each certificate has a public verification page.

The OCTO client used on the marketplace side was driven through the eight-step Core Scenario of OCTO's validator against OCTO's reference supplier, and passed.
What was tested
Two directions of one standard.
Supplier Certification covers the endpoint a sales channel calls. The OCTO supplier endpoint of this service, https://api.rezroute.com/octo/1, passed OCTO's validator in full.
Reseller Certification covers the client that calls a supplier's OCTO endpoint. The OCTO client used on the marketplace side was driven through the eight-step Core Scenario of OCTO's validator against OCTO's reference supplier, and passed.
Both certificates are issued to Travel Activity Guide Ltd, the company that operates The Greek Local. That is the name a reviewer will see on the verification pages.
What it means
What this certification is, and what it is not.
The real status of each sales channel is on the channels page, what security certification is and is not held is on the security page, and why no traffic or uptime figures are published is on the reliability and status pages.
- A conformance certification
- OCTO's validator exercised the endpoint and the client against the OCTO specification and recorded a pass. That is what the certificate states, and nothing more.
- Not a channel certification
- GetYourGuide and Viator each run their own certification, and neither has certified this service. Their real status is on the channels page and is unchanged by this certificate.
- Not a security audit
- No SOC 2 report, no ISO/IEC 27001 certificate and no PCI DSS attestation is held. The security page says so in full.
- Not a measurement of live traffic
- The validator tests behaviour, not volume or uptime. No operator or channel traffic figures are published, and the reliability and status pages explain why.
- A live record
- Each verification page is maintained by OCTO, not by this site. If a certificate lapses or is withdrawn, that page will show it before this one does. The supplier certificate is valid for twelve months and is due for renewal by 2027-09-07.
How to check
Three things to compare.
- 01Open the verification link on the certificate.
- 02Compare the certificate ID and the date with the ones printed here.
- 03Confirm the name on the page is Travel Activity Guide Ltd, as stated above.
