Terms of service

Two sets of terms in one document: the rules for using this website, and the terms on which RezRoute carries availability and bookings between the calendar an operator already keeps and the sales channels that list their tours.

Last updated 24 October 2026 · Draft, pending legal review

1. These terms, and who they bind

This document does two jobs. The first part is about this website: who operates it, what its pages are, what they are not, and the rules for using it. The second part is about the connectivity service: the terms on which RezRoute carries availability and bookings between the calendar an operator already keeps and the sales channels that list their tours.

There is no account to create on this website and no form that signs anybody up. Using the website means accepting the website clauses. The service clauses bind an operator once a connection is agreed, and they sit alongside the agreement that operator already has with the marketplace holding its products.

Who operates this website

  • Entity: DEMCYN LTD
  • Registered address: Vavyla 3, Block A, Flat/Office 204, Pera Chorio Nisou, 2572 Nicosia, Cyprus
  • Company registration number: HE 491561
  • Website: rezroute.com
  • General enquiries: connectivity@rezroute.com

DEMCYN LTD owns this service and is the company behind Cyprus Bucket List. The service routes for The Greek Local in Greece and Cyprus Bucket List in Cyprus. That relationship is stated throughout this site rather than left to be discovered.

Which terms apply to you

Who you areWhat applies
Anyone reading this websiteThe website clauses: how this website may be used, what its pages are, and what they are not.
An operator whose tours are connectedBoth parts, together with the agreement that operator holds with the marketplace that carries its products.
A traveller who has booked a tourNeither. A traveller's contract is with the party identified at the point of sale, and it is not with RezRoute.
A sales channelIts own connectivity agreement with us. This page is published so that a channel reviewer can read what operators are told.

If the documents conflict

An operator is usually party to more than one document at once: these terms, the marketplace agreement covering its products, and the sales channel's own terms.

2. Definitions

  • We, us, RezRoute: DEMCYN LTD, whose details are set out in the first clause above.
  • You: in the website clauses, anyone using this website. In the service clauses, the operator.
  • Operator: the tour or activity business whose products are connected to a sales channel through the service.
  • Website: the pages published at rezroute.com.
  • Marketplace: The Greek Local or Cyprus Bucket List, whichever holds the operator's calendar and bookings.
  • Sales channel, channel: a third party that lists and sells the operator's products. At the date of these terms the channels are GetYourGuide and Viator.
  • Service: the routing of a channel's availability, reservation, booking and cancellation calls to the marketplace backend that owns the product, through a single endpoint. That endpoint is api.rezroute.com.
  • Availability: the departures, seats, prices and blackout dates the operator maintains in the marketplace portal.
  • Reservation: a temporary hold a channel places on seats before it confirms a sale.
  • Booking: a confirmed sale written into the marketplace calendar against real seats.
  • Traveller data: personal data about the person travelling, received from a channel as part of a reservation or booking.
  • Connection request: the operator asking for a named tour to be made available on a named sales channel.
  • Agreement: these terms together with any order form or annex agreed with the operator, and the marketplace agreement covering the products connected.

3. Using this website

By using this website you accept the clauses in this section. If you do not accept them, please do not use it.

Nothing here is a binding offer

The pages on this site describe what the service is designed to do and what it costs. They are general information, not an offer capable of acceptance, and nothing on this website forms a contract. There is no signup form, no account and no checkout here, which is deliberate: a connection can only be built on a calendar that already exists inside a marketplace.

A connection begins when it is agreed in writing between us, the operator and the marketplace that holds the products. Reading this site, writing to us, or being listed on a marketplace does not start one.

Targets are not warranties

Figures published on this site as targets are targets. No uptime or booking figures are published, so nothing here is a measurement, and no page on this website warrants that a target has been met or will be met. The reliability page sets out where each figure comes from.

General information, not advice about your business

The guides and reference pages describe how sales channels and connectivity work in general. They are not advice about a particular operator's products, contracts, licensing, tax or obligations to a channel, and they should not be acted on as if they were. Channel specifications change, and a page here may lag behind the channel's own document, which is the one that governs.

Availability of the website

We do not promise that this website will be available uninterrupted or free of errors. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice, and we may restrict access where we reasonably believe it is being misused. The availability of this website is a separate matter from the availability targets that apply to the routing service.

Links and third-party services

This site links to sales channels, to the two marketplaces, and to documentation published by other companies. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for their content or their practices, and a link is not an endorsement. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.

Privacy

This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and tracks nothing about the people who read it. What that leaves, and what happens to personal data that reaches us in other ways, is set out in the privacy notice.

4. Intellectual property and acceptable use

Intellectual property

The content of this website, including its text, diagrams, layout and branding, belongs to DEMCYN LTD or to our licensors, and is protected by copyright and related rights. You may read, print and share pages for your own use, including quoting them back to us. You may not republish or sell them, use them commercially, or use our name or marks without our written permission.

The names and marks of the sales channels, including GetYourGuide and Viator, belong to their respective owners. They are used on this site only to identify the channels the service connects to. We are not owned by, endorsed by, or acting as an agent of any of them, and nothing on this site should be read as suggesting otherwise. The channels pages say where each connection stands.

Acceptable use

  • Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to this website, to the service endpoint, or to any connected system.
  • Do not introduce malicious code, or anything designed to interfere with the operation of the site or the service.
  • Do not scrape, harvest or systematically extract content, and do not place automated load on the site.
  • Do not use credentials issued for a connection for anything other than that connection.
  • Do not use this website for any unlawful purpose.

The service endpoint is not a public API. Access to it is by agreement with a sales channel or a marketplace, and there is no open registration for it. Testing the security of what we run is welcome under the terms set out in the vulnerability disclosure policy, which asks for a few specific things and commits us to a few in return.

5. The service and its scope

RezRoute is a connectivity layer. It presents one API endpoint to a sales channel and routes each call to the marketplace backend that owns the product being asked about. Availability questions are answered from the operator's live calendar, and a booking is written inside the marketplace's own database transaction, in the same place and by the same rules as a direct booking.

RezRoute keeps no separate copy of availability. There is no cache to reconcile and no second store of seats, which is the reason two channels cannot be told that the same last seat is free.

The service covers products that the operator has listed with a marketplace and has asked to be made available on a channel. The operator continues to manage those products, their departures and their prices in the marketplace portal.

Channel availability is not a promise

Each channel decides when a connection may go live, on its own timetable and against its own certification process. Nothing in these terms commits us to a date on which any channel becomes available.

  • GetYourGuide Live
Certified by GetYourGuide on 20 October 2026 (Supplier API live test passed); first supplier connected through self-mapping on 21 October 2026. Last checked 2026-10-24.
  • Viator Planned
Not started. Viator requires five active engaged operators before development may begin. Last checked 2026-08-28.

6. What the service is not

This clause exists because the wrong expectation is the most common cause of a dispute. The service is not:

  • A reservation system. There is no RezRoute dashboard, no manifests, no point of sale and no reporting.
  • A second calendar. Availability lives in the marketplace portal the operator already uses, and nothing is copied out of it.
  • A payment service. RezRoute does not take payment from travellers, does not process cards, and does not hold operator or traveller money at any point.
  • A marketplace. RezRoute does not sell tours, does not set prices, and does not contract with travellers.
  • Independent or neutral. RezRoute is owned by the company behind Cyprus Bucket List and routes for The Greek Local and Cyprus Bucket List, and we state that rather than implying otherwise.

The contract for a channel sale is not ours.

8. Operator obligations

Accurate availability

This is the obligation everything else rests on. The calendar the operator maintains must reflect what can genuinely be sold. Every statement we make about overselling being structurally impossible is a statement about one calendar being the single truth. If seats are held back by telephone, promised to an agent, or blocked in a notebook and not recorded in the marketplace portal, the connection will sell them, and it will be right to do so.

Product information

The operator keeps product information accurate and current: duration, meeting point, what is included, the cancellation policy, languages, capacity and per-person prices. Channels display this to travellers and hold the seller to it.

Pricing structure

Viator supports per-person pricing only. Tiered pricing and per-unit pricing are not supported by the Viator connection, so a product priced per boat, per vehicle or per group cannot be connected to Viator in that form.

Honouring bookings

A booking arriving through a channel is honoured on the same terms as a direct booking. Cancelling channel bookings because a better direct booking arrived is a breach of these terms and, separately, of the channel's own terms.

Credentials and security

Authentication between a channel and the service uses HTTP Basic authentication in both directions, as the channels require. The operator keeps any credentials issued to it confidential, does not share them outside its business, and tells us promptly if it suspects they have been exposed.

Contact

The operator keeps one named person reachable for connection questions, and tells us when that person changes.

Compliance

The operator remains responsible for its own licences, insurance, consumer law obligations and tax, and for its own relationship with each channel.

9. Fees and invoicing

Connectivity is free. That applies to operators working with The Greek Local and to operators working with Cyprus Bucket List: no setup fee, no monthly fee, and no charge per booking. There is no fee anywhere in this service today.

It is a condition rather than a general claim. It applies because RezRoute is the connectivity layer both marketplaces use, and each marketplace carries the cost of the connection for its own operators.

This is what is true today rather than a commitment for all time. A charge may be introduced in future. If one is, it is put in writing before it applies to a single booking, the notice provisions in these terms apply to it, and it is never applied to a booking already taken.

Money is not held

RezRoute does not collect traveller payments, does not hold operator funds, and does not deduct anything from a payout. Payment for a booking is settled between the channel, the marketplace and the operator under their own arrangements. Any connectivity charge introduced in future would be invoiced separately and paid separately, which means an operator can see it, question it and reconcile it. No money passes through this service at any point.

10. Fee parity

The GetYourGuide Supplier API specification requires that the fee charged for sales made through that API does not exceed the fee charged for any other similar sales channel. We commit to that, and we state it here rather than only in a channel contract the operator cannot see.

Our connectivity fee for a sale made through the GetYourGuide Supplier API will not be higher than our connectivity fee for a comparable sale made through any other similar channel. If we charge less on another channel, the lower rate applies to GetYourGuide sales as well, from the date it takes effect elsewhere.

Today the commitment costs us nothing, because connectivity is free on both marketplaces and nothing can exceed nothing. It is written here anyway, because it is the clause that will matter on the day a charge is introduced, and a commitment made before there is anything to gain from breaking it is worth more than one made afterwards.

11. Service levels and their limits

We publish targets. We do not publish uptime or booking figures. Anything described on this site as a target is a target, and it is not a warranty that the target has been met or will be met.

The targets come from the channels themselves. GetYourGuide sets an availability commitment of 99.8 percent per calendar month, counts a call not answered within 15 seconds as unavailable, and sets response time and monthly error ceilings for each endpoint. Viator sets 99.8 percent uptime for critical synchronous APIs and 99.5 percent for asynchronous ones, with its own monthly error ceilings. The full figures are set out on the reliability page.

What the targets depend on

The service is one link in a chain. A connection can fail or slow for reasons outside it: the marketplace backend that holds the calendar, the operator's own data, the channel's systems, and the public internet between them. These targets apply to the routing layer and not to those parties.

Support

We do not offer a guaranteed response time for operator support, and we will not publish one we cannot yet staff. Support is by e-mail. No telephone support line is published, and no out-of-hours line is published.

  • Support: connectivity@rezroute.com
  • For the GetYourGuide connection we maintain a named technical contact who answers within 24 hours or the next business day, because the specification requires it. That commitment is to the channel and is stated here so operators know it exists.

Credits

These terms do not create a service credit, refund or compensation entitlement for missed targets.

12. Suspension and termination

Suspension

We may suspend a connection where:

  • availability is demonstrably inaccurate and is producing failed or cancelled bookings;
  • a channel requires it, or a channel suspends the listing itself;
  • credentials are compromised, or are being used from somewhere unexpected;
  • the connection is being used in a way that breaches these terms or a channel's terms.

We will tell the operator before we suspend where it is safe to do so, and immediately afterwards where it is not. We will say what would restore the connection.

Termination

An operator may end the connection at any time by withdrawing consent, as set out in the distribution clause above. An operator does not have to terminate in order to stop distributing: withdrawing consent for a tour or a channel needs no notice period.

Effect of termination

Bookings already accepted are still honoured by the operator. The channel stops receiving availability, and the operator is responsible for removing or pausing its channel listings. Any amounts accrued up to the date of termination remain payable. What happens to personal data is governed by the data processing terms, and booking records remain in the marketplace, which is where they were written.

13. Liability

Nothing in this clause limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Nothing in these terms affects a mandatory statutory right that a person has under the law of their own country, including any right that applies to a person using this website as a consumer.

The website

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on the general information published on this website, or from the website being unavailable, changed or withdrawn.

The service

We are not liable for:

  • loss arising from availability, prices or product information that the operator supplied or failed to update;
  • the acts, omissions, outages, policies or commercial decisions of a sales channel;
  • the operator's own contract with a traveller, or the delivery of the tour itself;
  • loss arising while a connection is suspended for a reason set out above.

14. Changes to these terms

We give at least 30 days written notice before any change that affects how a connection works. That period is not chosen by us: the GetYourGuide Supplier API specification requires at least 30 days notice of changes affecting connectivity, and we apply the same period to operators.

The website clauses may be updated without individual notice. The version in force is the one published here, with the date shown at the top of the page.

Every version is dated. This version is dated 24 October 2026. Superseded versions are available on request.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Republic of Cyprus, and the courts of Republic of Cyprus deal with any dispute arising from them.

A complaint about personal data may be made to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection, the supervisory authority in Republic of Cyprus, whose contact details are set out in the privacy notice. An individual may in any case complain to the supervisory authority of the country they live or work in.
