Connectivity for tour operators in Greece

If your tours are listed with The Greek Local, connecting them to a sales channel costs you nothing. That is possible because the marketplace carries the cost of this connectivity layer, which is a relationship worth knowing about before you read anything else on this page.

The offer

Free for operators working with The Greek Local.

Connectivity is included at no cost for operators whose tours are listed with The Greek Local. Operators in Cyprus, routed through Cyprus Bucket List, are on the same terms.

The Greek Local takes no commission on a booking that a sales channel sold. A tour sold on GetYourGuide is a sale that channel made, not one this marketplace made, so the marketplace takes nothing from it. The whole amount, less whatever the channel charges you under your own agreement with it, is yours. The commission The Greek Local charges applies to bookings it sells itself, and connecting a channel does not change it.

Your contract for selling on GetYourGuide is between you and GetYourGuide. You hold your own supplier account, you accept their terms yourself, you set your own prices and categories in your own account, and GetYourGuide pays you directly. RezRoute is named in that account as your reservation system and nothing more. The listing is never ours and the money never passes through us.

No monthly fee
There is no subscription for connectivity while your tours are listed with The Greek Local.
No setup fee
Mapping your products and making the channel connection is not charged for.
No connectivity fee per booking
A booking that arrives through a connected channel carries no charge from RezRoute itself.
No second system
There is no dashboard to learn, no manifest to keep and no point of sale. You work where you already work.

Connecting

What it involves at your end.

  1. 01

Your calendar is checked, not moved

Departures, seat counts and closed dates stay in the The Greek Local portal you already use. If your calendar there is accurate, most of the work is already done.

  2. 02

    Products are mapped

We match each tour to the identifiers the channel uses, and give you the mapping. If you ask for that mapping at any point, you get it within two business days, which is the standard GetYourGuide sets.

  3. 03

    The channel connection is made

You select RezRoute in your channel account and paste the identifiers we give you.

  4. 04

    Testing, then live

GetYourGuide runs three testing phases before anything sells: initial self-testing, advanced self-testing, and live testing with its Connectivity team. Your products go live at the end of that, not at the start.

There is no second calendar at any point in that sequence. A channel asking whether a seat is free is answered from the same availability a direct customer is answered from, and a channel booking is written against the same seats inside the same database transaction. The routing model in full.

RezRoute is built to the GetYourGuide Supplier API specification, and GetYourGuide certified this connection on 20 October 2026. Viator is planned rather than started, because Viator requires a reservation system to have five active engaged operators before development may commence. What that means if Viator is the channel you want.

Scope

What this does not touch.

Your obligations as an operator in Greece

Connecting a sales channel does not change what you are required to hold, register or declare in Greece, and RezRoute does not advise on any of it. Two regimes are commonly confused, so they are worth naming separately: licensing for tour guides is one thing, and registration as a tour operator or travel business is another. They are not interchangeable, and which applies to you depends on what you actually sell.

Your relationship with the traveller

A booking made on a channel is served by that channel: it holds the customer relationship, it takes the payment and its cancellation terms are the ones that apply. RezRoute carries the availability and the booking, and nothing else.

Support

What you can expect when something is wrong.

No response-time guarantee is published here, because a guarantee with nothing behind it is worth less than a plain statement of who answers. Support is by e-mail at connectivity@rezroute.com. No telephone support line is published, and no out-of-hours line is published.

GetYourGuide separately requires a connectivity partner to keep a named technical contact who answers within 24 hours or the next business day. That obligation runs to the channel, and it is one we are built to meet. Contact and support.

Ownership

Tell us which of your tours should be on a channel.

We map the products and handle the connection. If your calendar in the The Greek Local portal is already accurate, there is very little left for you to do.
